Sump and Light ?

Can anyone show me a pic of their sump/refugium. Im planning a new tank either a 90 or 120 (can't make up my mind) I remember seeing MtDewMan's sump on a tank of the month and it had a really cool design.

any input on this would be appreciated,

and i'm going to get 220 watts of VHO atinic, but would you go with 250's of 400's both tanks are 24 " deep but I plan on having a 4-5" DSB and keeping SPS and clams

if you have a 90 or 120 what lighting combo did you do
thanks in advance

Ross

In my 90 I am going with 2 250MH as I have been told 400s would give me a heat problem contact Doug at dmcintyre@aquaticco.com he is very helpful.
If you want more light you might ask about the HQI bulb.
When I asked this question most people said go 400

I was thinking about the 400's because there's not a big price difference between those and the 250's. Im going to go with pendants because the canopy would be hard to retrofit. I plan on using fans
Thanks for the reply NubyTuesday

Anyone with a 120 have an opinion

Just put up two 400 watt MH, plus 10 foot of VHO in a 6 foot canopy, heat hasn't been a problem yet, but it's in the basement and canopy is well vented, no fans, this is on a 130 gal

I'll keep that in mind, the 400's might get a tad bit warm
Thanks

I have (2) 250 watt Iwasaki and (2) 110 watt VHO. Even with two fans in the hood I'm pushing the envelope on temperature in the summer. I have to run the AC all day and still my tank runs 83-84. If I had it to do over again I would strongly consider 250 watt HQI with pc actinics.

just for reference, i did an imprompto experiment with my 400MH. i put a thermometer about an inch away and turned it on. the thermometer topped out at 141 degrees inside the reflector, and the reflector was facing upside down. they do get a little warm. right now i am running 80 at night and it aproches 84 by lights out. i have 5 3-inch fans trying to cool. i am finishing up a DYI chiller this weekend to help out.

Sump: here are pictures of my sump/refugium setup:
