Problems with MH lighting
I am having problems getting my mh to come on. I have to loosen then tighten, loosen then tighten, until they finally come on. I would like to put these lights on a timer, but I am afraid they won't come on. Any suggestions on what I should do? Anyone else had this problem?

If I remember right there is a tab in the bottoom of the mogule that you can gently pull up to make contact with the bulb. Dont quote me on it but its possiable.
HTH Jeff
Be careful and unplug it first pls by all means.

when the bulbs are new, it is common for them to "misfire".
they won't heat up all the way and then cool down, then heat up again.
give them a week they will likely stop.

Just make sure the power is off before raising the tab.. I am sure you have thought about that already but just a reminder...

Yes it was Galleon that solved my dilema (thanks) and No I didn't need to be told to shut it off first, actually unplugged it and used a plastic handled pick thingy to do the repositioning Them MH put a lotta juice in ya if you are clumsy
