Tie all blacks together(excluding the ones from the bulbs), use whites together, the problem your having is bringing the blacks to the lamps, instead bring a white/white and red/black to the lamps. The green should be tied together and to ground not to red.

You will be connecting the red to where the black comes from the bulb.

let me know how this works. This will work according to the wiring diagram. I edited the first one about the black wires, read well and ask if you don't understand.

word of caution with these bulbs from champion lighting!
Just be careful when using these bulbs.
NOTE: We will not warranty any E-Ballast used with 12,000K Sunburst lamps. We don't not sell or recommend this lamp. We have tested this lamp and find it unstable. It will not light on a 400w or 250w E-Ballast. Our test have also shown this bulb to explode on a 175w E-Ballast. We have also had several customer complaints about this bulb.

Yes, just wanted to pass on what I've read about these in the past.
So do you understand how to wire them? Is it working?

I am at work now. I will be trying it out in about an hour. I am unsure how to separate the power from ballast and bulbs.

Doode...
If you're not 100% on how to wire this device, get someone who is to do this for you, or at least assist you as you assemble this device. Your lighting is the most important electrical device (well, the pumps are pretty important), and they have the most potential for disaster. Your system will need good waterproof wiring, the correct wiring, and some safety installs as well. Salt water and electricity are the recipe for disaster, don't make it worse by guessing at the wiring for these ballasts.
I don't want to totally discourage you, but this is a really big disaster waiting to happen if you're not TOTALLY familiar with these devices. Paying someone, if necessary, is just a small price to pay for peace of mind while you sleep (or you're at work).

Well....IT WORKED!!! Thanks BuckWheat.
It is all set up and "working like a glove." I now notice that I just don't have enough live rock and/or corals. Hmmmm, since I spent so much money to get from a 65g to a 100g, I may have to wait till 2005 since I am close to being overdrawn.
