I am going to order a icecap 660 but i dont know what to get far as length.
i have a 75gall oceanic reef ready tank with oceanic hood.
do i use a 46.6" vho or can i use a 48" for my tank?

and
what site do you prefer for buying a 660 icecap retrofit or kit?

the best is to measure the inside length of your hood, if it is just 48" then get the 46.5, it will be much easier, if the inside is 49 orlarger then you can probably get the 48".

I would get them from www.premiumaquatics.com

Great service

I have just a touch over 48.5" and I have 48" bulbs and german end caps. The bulbs barely fit in there, but they do.

I don't knwo what to say, both would probably work.

Mine with the Icecap end caps measures 48 1/4' Its a snug fit in my canopy but I have the end caps hard mounted to the lid. The advantage is that i can sub standard 48" Flo tubes either cheaper 6500K daylights, or whatever 4 foot day or actinic is available

That will be real close for 48" bulbs. If you buy from Premium Aquatics they can provide you with reliable information as to weather it would fit. Just send Jason or Cory an e-mail and they'll get you a prompt reply.
