Light set up help

I am in the process of puting the lights in my new hood since the new tank is gonna be the same size I thought what the heck. Here is how I have the MH's and two VHO's will go on either side. My question is does the MH's look to close to the center? Should I move them out to the edges another 6 inches? I want to have good coverage on both ends of the tank and the center also. I know what some ppl are gonna say "Just add a third." the answer is NO! This is gonna be a 60 inch tank BTW

TIA
Jeff

I'm thinking they are too close to the center but it's hard to say for sure. Have you got the bulbs yet?

One more thing I forgot about. Where on the tank are the braces? I wouldn't place the bulbs too close to the braces.

I would put the bulbs in then do some measuring and place the sockets so that the light will be evenly spaced over the tank.

Well the first measurments were right on and here it is finished. Only the right side has a halide started thats why the color looks unbalanced.

Hey Jeff,
that new hood looks a little better huh? Nice. Hey If I am still around and not snowboarding, I will be over there helping you out with the transfer when your new tank comes in, OK?
