I'm a moron, help with endcap wiring...

I just got a set of endcaps seen here:

I can not figure out how the heck to wire them! I have the 2 stripped wires from my old endcaps, but for some reason I can not figure out where they go on these new ones. Anyone have these? Am I just missing something???

You push the wire up thru those holes in the bottom of the end caps. They lock into a clip in the cap.

Thats what I thought, but for some reason I cant get them to lock? Is the trick just to push really hard until they are through because I can kinda see where it might be able to lock. Perhaps if I used a nail to help the wire through.

Well first paint you have to give the endcaps a little rub, hehehe

Yea just push them through and they should lock in

Success!!! Sorry for the brain fart all, but I think I got it, and they actually lit!

cool! i was gonna say make sure a lot of wire is showin, but buzz beat me too it. those are the same caps i have they work wonderful. i like the rubebr seal that tightens down on the bulb to hold it in place.

they sell an acrylic base for them too, to make mounting easier, but since i just screwed down from the top of the canopy, i didn't need them.

quite a bit cheaper than mine too. i paid 11 a pair... but then again no shipping charges, so probably works out about the same.
