Ice Cap ballast causing interferance with TV?

I'm looking to buy MH's for my tank and lucky me there happened to be a thread on this forum about the cheapest place to buy some. I also read that someone was using the Ice Cap ballast, but had interference with the TV when they came on. Can someone who has had experience with this explain a little more? My tank is right next to my TV.

I was looking on aquatictech and was about to buy the 250w ballast for $118 that runs any kind of bulb, and saw that the ballast that only runs Iwasaki is $179 and the one that only runs american bulbs is $169.... ???? My guess is that the cheaper one that runs both bulbs must cause some serious electrical interference why else would it be so much cheaper....

I just quit watchin TV once I started my reef tank.

I should just get rid of the TV and get a 10' long tank to cover the whole wall in the soon to be called "aquarium room".

Yah but what about interference, some reef spouses gotta have their LMN

Ohhh, can't go through the day without my daily Simpsons fix.....and then don't forget football (go eagles) , but yeah I'd give up tv for a 10 foot long tank....
