Thanks for the warm welcome!!! The Aqualine Buschke's looks like a fine choice from what I'v been reading. Also see quite a few deals on 20,000K radium bulb,so I have to wonder why shops are trying to unload them cheap, anyone using that bulb?.Oh BTW my tank is a six foot with two 400 w plus vho's,what about mixing color temps? Thanks again!!!

Welcome to TRT!!!!

i would not mix temps across that large of an expanse. it would be very noticeable. i do not think it would blend well.

Ditto, if you want blue bulbs, go with the sunburst 12kK bulbs, although I still really like the Iwasaki bulbs at 6500 for growth and color them with VHO 03 actinics on icecaps... VERY nice coloration, leaning toward the blue with 4 bulbs vs 3 MH
