I know several people who use the 20ks and love them because of their color and how they colorize the Corals. Though of course with talking to a couple people at the picnic this seems to be a great debate on their intensity.

From the opinions I heard, I was originally going with 20ks but will be sticking with the 10k with Actinic Supp option. Mainly because of the Intensity and Shadowing Factor. I suppose if you dont have a deep tank (Over 24 inches) it wouldnt be TO much of a factor.

Wait till a few people get back from the Picnic and IM sure mojo will comment on them. He uses 4 20ks over his Tank (400 watts) Not as blue as I would have pictured though.

I am running them for 12 hours The 400 20K and I have two 250 watt Iwasakis that I run 5 hours now in the middle of the phoo period to get a noon or high sun effect. I have also heard different opinions regarding the PAR of 20 K bulbs so that is why I stuffed in the Iwasakis. The temp holds at 82.6 when all the lights are running and 80.1 - 79.5 when the lights are off.

I like them on MoJo's tank I think they look sharp. Im sure he will have a comment or two once things slow down at his place.
