i purchased mine slightly used for 90usd. i like it, it works well. it has 4 different settings for wavemaking, and can control upto 4 pumps for wavemaking, or 3 pumps for wavemaking and the 4th for a master pump (sw selected). it also provides for a night time reduced flow pattern as well as a temporary shutoff during feeding. i hope this helps!

Sorry but I had to work today.

I've been using one for about a year or maybe a little less. I like it fine but I never had any other one so I can't compare. It does have a soft start feature so it should be easier on your pumps.

Make sure to keep the receipt :)

I purchased the red sea wavemaster earlier this year. 5 months later one of the ports stopped firing a powerhead. I called red sea in texas, explained what was happening, and they asked me to supply my receipt of purchase in order to honor their warranty. I faxed it over, and right away they sent me a new one, and I returned to them the defective one; after confirming the new one worked. The people at Red Sea were friendly and helpful the whole way through the process. The good service justifies the purchase.

oh yeah, it works really well. I'm sure you'll be happy w/ it's performance. It has some cool features. Try it out, and if you don't like it....send it back.

Catch a wave....
