Electrical help

calling out to any or all electricians or electronics folks. I bought a repeat timer unit to control my motorized ball valve and the instructions came in japanese , well after searching the web I found a site and they had the unit with all the instructions in English , problem for me is that it make as much sence to me as the Japanese instructions.
I think I know what to do but I do not want to risk it, so I am calling on all gadjet folks to see if you can help me wire this thing.

Ok first the MBV. it has 4 wires coming off it white (com) Green (grnd) black and brown. Ok when the white, black and green are put to power the valve will turn 180 and then stop. when the white brown and green are put to power it will spin 180 the opposite way and then stop.
here is the downloadable pdf file for the timer, mine is the eight pin model file
the unit I have is a H3CR-F: repeat cycle timer

ok question How do I wire it? and I want to attach 2 units to the timer and it is ok to have them turn at the same time

thanks folks.

Mike

Hey Mike,

I'm assuming that you purchased the 8 pin socket base "P2CF-08". According to the instructions, it looks like terminals 2 & 7 are where you apply power to the relay. So take the white (120V pwr) to terminal 2 & the black (120V pwr) to terminal 7. connect the green (GND) wire directly to the valve. Connect the white (nuet) wire of the valve to terminal 2. Create a jumper from terminal 7 to terminal 8 (com). Connect the black wire from the valve to terminal 5 and the brown wire to terminal 6. Terminals 5 and 6 are the associated outputs to terminal 8 (com). You will have to select the time interval that best fits the the travel time of the valve from 0-180.

Best of luck,

Sean
