The reactor is an aqua-medic 1000, I have heard that they are pretty good.

Prolly not a bad long term investment, but if you don't have many corals that use up the calcium or clams, etc, then you would be better off using a 2 part buffer/calcium additive for now, especially in view of the occupants for the tank. If you do get the reactor, make sure to get a good regulator, as you will be fooling around for a while to dial in the right rate for the CO2, and a good regulator will keep it there once you set it. the cheapo models will tend to let the pressure drop off as the tank pressure begins to drop. The whole idea of using the regulator is supposed to be that it prevents this type of variability of the delivery rate, but I have found that several of the cheapo models sold in the aquarium trade are mediocre, at best.
I personally would recommend a
kalkwasser reactor or 2 part additive system with a
dosing pump unless you get a large population of calcium consuming critters. In a 90 gal tank you will have to consider the tradeoff of introducing a source of CO2 at night in a mostly fish tank vs. the amount of Calcium you actually need in your system at this point.
