My future set-up is definitely going to include the
Aquacontroller II. After reading and researching I still need some clarification. BTW, Bill-e review was very helpful, thanks Bill (
read ).
I have never wrked with X-10 or any controller modules and feel I'm missing something. Tell me if this is right: The Aqua controller has a module that plugs into a socket and is directly conected to the controller, the pre-programmed controller sends a signal to this module which in turn sends the signal to a remote module which turns the appliance plugged into it on/off.
Is that right or is there any hard wiring involved? I understand the functions of the controller and all the probes and modules needed, but just wanted to clarify how the signal is sent from controller to appliance.
Thanks for your help, hope I made a little sense.
