Finally got my Sump. 35 Total Galons with a 5 inch DSB in it. My problem is now plumbing. I got a piece of 3 foot Flexible hosing and it is going to attach to the overflow and drain into the sump just to the right of the tank in a seperate wardrobe closet.
For my return tho, I was thinking 2 two footers of the same stuff to make it to the top of the tank and then to build a PVC Manifold to distribute the water to two different outlets and have a
ball valve to regulate flow a little.
I tried home depot but did not find alot of the nifty plumbing fixtures i see alot of you use.
Are there any suggestions for me when doing this. The tubing has a rubber end that can be attached to possibly a 90 of pvc that would be threaded onto the other end to screw into a pump. Yet i notice not all pumps concidered usable for a return have threaded ends.
Suggestions on Pump for a Overflow that averages between 350 and 500 gallons Per Hour would be great! Im merely days away from plugging in the new Euroreef and tossing my power heads :P
Thanks in advance.!
Joe
