submersible pump

I have been using an ampmaster so long, I am spoiled.

Anyhow I am looking for a submersible pump, plumbed through a chiller and back up through a single sea swirl. Need to run it about 600gph with that head.

I am currenly using a CA 4000. But this thing is loud! Do not say, mag because they chatter almost as bad as this pump is loud. Any other suggestions!?

mag 12 and throttle it down to what y0ou want. this way, if you need some head pressure, you will have some reserve, might even run an extra skimmer with it.

Another choice would be a Senn900, a good "pressure" pump for a submersible.

Fwiw the Sen 900 is almost twice the physical size of the mag 18

Quiet One now has a model that is submersible. I have run their external for 3years now and have been very pleased. My friend just got one of their submersibles and hasn't had any complaints.
