checkvalve?

Is there a marine quality checkvalve out there that I can get? Or are they all the same? Just wondering about the spring mechanism rusting and having to replace it all the time.

Are you referring to airline type check valves, or PVC check valves for tank plumbing? I've never used the PVC check valves, but have heard from others that they require pretty regular maintenance if you plan on relying on them to prevent any back siphon issues. HTH.

ive looked all over and havent found a good one, what i have found is electric sprinkler valves at fleet farm for like 12 bucks. just hook them up to a power supply and if the power goes out the valve shuts off.

Just remember that check valves can impart a false sense of security, as they can get lodged open and allow draindown in a power off situation
I can't imagine utilizing a plumbing scenario that required one of these check valves
