Zoo placement

I've been looking around the net, looking for pix of reef tanks to get ideas for decorating my tank. In some pictures of people's reefs, I see that they place Zoos in the bottom of the tank. I don't remember if these were in nano-tanks or larger tanks, Looking through Dr. Foster & Smith's site in their quick stats of some of the zoos, they say that placement should be in the middle to top area of the tank. Are there any that can be placed on the substrate of the tank? Are nano-reefers able to do this due to such high intensity of lighting in such a short heighted tank? Thanks.

I have a 210 gallon tank and I keep my zoos on the bottom of my tank. It's 30" deep and I'm running 400w MH. I keep them on the bottom with Ricordia, to keep them off of my SPS corals on the top. This works great for me.They will thrive pretty much where ever you place them.
