Zoas Growing on Glass
A while back there was a thread that for the life of me I have been unable to find again. In it I said I would post a pic of some of my zoas growing on the back glasswall of my 90 gallon. It may have been aquawolf that wanted to see this pic. Sorry it took so long. These zoas are crazy, they spread like mad and some of them are as big as a 50 cent piece.

I just bought two pieces the size of a quarter for $10 each.
Can you give any tips for success?

well mostly zoas are pretty easy to take care of, just pretty high lighting and medium flow

i have some similar ones, mine also get big, i had assumed they were buttons... some have been in the sump under about 30watts of crappy lighting and they are still looking good.
i need to chip them off and move them back to the display cause i like them.

Very cool! I am trying that on a sidewall, GSP grows like a weed so I am not sure if I should be doing that as I have lost control of it before

The only part of the back wall you can see in one of my LFS' display tanks is the overflow and its covered in zoas too. Are GSP really that fast growing? How long would it take to grow to a colony from a frag?

GSP, at least in my tanks grows crazy fast. I am not sure how long but it should be easy to get it to cover a wall.
