Question

you think this is weird?

Well, I am a little worried.

I was watching Spongebob Squarepants with my 2 year old son the other day and it was the episode where Spongbob tries to get Squidward to eat a crabby patty (personally one of my favorites). Well Squidward buried the crabby patty in the sand and when spongbob left he dug it back up to eat it. Well......ummmm.....as I was watching this scene I stopped and thought, "Hmmm, I wonder what kind of sand that is? I wonder if its crushed coral?"

Is that OK, or should I take a break from reefing? Tell me somebody else has done that every now and then.....please

Well, for mi escuela(that's the extent of my spanish) I was learning this word called xenia. It comes from Greek meaning a gift to a foreigner. I immediatly thought of Xenia! I can't take a break from reefing, that's why i'm here!

ok now i dont feel so bad. i do that too with words like xenia. also I was told that putting the drink mix Tang in the bottom of my dishwasher would break up the calcium deposits and help it drain better. Imagine my thoughts when I am told: "Put some tang in your dishwasher..." I think of my fish immediately.

thats not the worst of it. the other night in my dream, I was walking along in a forest, and I come to a house. What does it say on the sign/mailbox in front of the house, but: TDWyatt!!!

now youve heard it all.

that last post was a little too much information

but, after watching finding nemo, my wife asked me if i ever felt guilty for having a reef tank as i may have broken up a family. i promptly told her, "no, i was too busy identifying the different fish and corals."

you're not alone in your weirdness.

ps: that is the greatest of all episodes of spongebob. that one and the one where he pretends to be dumb so patrick star will look smart by comparison.

Gee I feel much better to know that while watching spongebob with my children I am not the only one to have these strange thoughts.
