Question

You can lead a clown to a sebae but...

Ok... I bet this has been ask about 100 times. I apoligize for that, but my plan has variables that I had not figured into the equation. I bought a new purple tip sebae, and a pair of true percs, you know, with the intention of cohabitation. Uh huh... yeah sure... It's been a week, and the clowns show no interest in the sebae. I know that sebaes are an excellent host, and I also know that what the fish has planned may not coincide with my big picture. But, any ideas would be greatly appreciated, my 4 year old grand daughter is way stressed that the clowns (Nemo fish) are living in the upper corner of the tank. She has claimed them for her own, and won't accept their current living quarters.
Thanks Scott.

they should eventually take that on as a host..... some times it just takes a lil longer than anticipated.... but they will also host what they want to host... not what you want it to host

Our tomato's took maybe an hour to figure it out. Once they saw the rose - now they just go from one to another - have 6 now. It's amazing that the female somehow tells the male when and how long to be in an anoenome before moving on. Four roses and two green BTA's.

It just takes time and not when you want it to be. Isn't it that way in life

what I'm afraid of is that the clowns will choose the bta in my tank instead of the sebae. It's been a week, and they still live in the upper corner of the tank. And no one has bothered since about the second day. Even the damsels are cool around them.

the clowns sound as if they are still timid in there souroundings... once they get comfortable they should move more... i know mine spent a week and a half swimming in the corner as well till they got totally comfortable with there new tankmates
