Cool, I will check your link. The reason I am asking is because I wanted to put seahorses in my 30g bowfront, but I am not sure if I can with the coral that is in there.

The tank is a 125RR. I currently have a Tunze 6060 (1600gph) and then just the four returns from the sump (Mag 12). I definitely needed more flow. I hope this does the trick.

I'd put money on the fact that it will be gone fairly quickly. Especially since you have no bioload in the tank right now.
If you want to speed up the process, get in there with a turky baster and blow off the rocks, expecially around where the HA is attached to the rock (the base of it).
At this time you also pull off as much of the algae as you can manually. (nutreant export lol)

I bet it will make a big difference! That is one heck of a pump.
Is this an SPS tank? I can't remember the details of your setup

Tank is mixed (softies, SPS & LPS). Moving more towards SPS now. I just can't let go of my leathers. I've had most of them for awhile now.

Ditto! Pulling it off by hand will really help. Your cleanup crew can get to the stubs much better.

That's why I have the little tank for the Softies (that softie tank pic thred) Whenever the SPS get an upgrade the smaller tank moves down for the leathers
In my SPS 125 I have 2 Tunze 6100's on a multi controler,.. I don't have them running flat out though, for sand reasons.
