Yet more random pics....


Since the last lot I posted were only at night I thought I'd post a few daytime shots!!

First off...my red-green favia has been shedding! It dropped a polyp - in the last 2 shots you can see it (just - small pink blob behind the old sucker that the hermits have such fun picking over) having landed in the sand. Since I semi-replaced much of my sandbed last week I'm going to try and leave it where it is and see if it will grow up to form another colony....

And some more. The daytime shot of the galaxea with its offspring, plus a couple of new acros I acquired from the LFS (the red/green one has become really hairy since coming into the tank - PE is getting wild!)

And a couple more. The pink stylophora (has darkened a little since first arrival - there were a couple of bleached spots), my green/pink montipora which I think became stressed with the recent hiccup - has become virtually all the same color.. And lastly the obligatory full tank shot - note that I changed the bulb on the RHS of the tank last week (XM10,000K), and the color is just fantastic!!

the galexia (sp) has some nasty stingers. the brian is probably being effected by it.
