Everything is looking good.
Might I ask where you got the 36" Nova Extreme T5 fixture for $193 shipped from? That might be just the thing I need for another tank.

Wow! Expensive weekend! We hit 5 LFS this weekend. We picked up a shroom rock with all kinds of critters on it on Sat. Yesterday, I picked up a new Remora skimmer to supplement the POS one I've got now. I picked up 2 MJ-1200s, some more hermits, and a pound of what was called 'Frag Rock' for $4 (3 pieces). My wife called this morning after the blue lights came on and one of the rocks was flashing orange light! Evidently, there's something on that one that flashes light under the blue lights.
Pics tonight

I have never seen anyone get so involved in reefing as fast as my wife (fiance) has.
It started a couple weeks ago when she stopped to look at the tank. She is now looking at nanos! Looks like she'll be getting one after the wedding in July. She is also spending most of her time looking online to try to find out what we have in the tank right now... so guess who gets to cook every night!
It is nice to have someone else who is wanting contribute to the tank though

Thanks for the information on the light fixture. That is cool that she is getting into it also, except for the you having to cook part. If I had to cook we would both be a whole lot skinnier.

I'm a retired chef and she is a good southern cook. We ALWAYS eat well.

New pics...
The queen Conch
And the 'nice' piece of new rock. It was loaded with stuff, shrooms, a couple cups, a big spongy thingy and starfish galore!
I could also use about 100 snails! As you can see from the conch pic.
New skimmer is helping. Getting more out of it than the old used one.

I was in the midst of a water change and general fiddling with the tank before and after I put him in. It could also have been a rough ride with UPS.
They are very sensitive critters. And no, he didn't 'nuke' the tank. Sand sifters usually dont when they die. The water sifters are usually the ones that nuke the tank.
The snails and peppermints seem to be doing ok.
