Yellow Tang has problems....

I am wondering if anyone on here can let me know what is going on with my tang, I took him out of the original tank he was in, but before I took him out, down his fins, and some in his belly area, there is a red tint, and it looks like a faint tint of blood under the yellow... I dont know what is going on, the water levels are all normal, and the other fish in the tank are doing alright... Any idea would be greatly appreciated!!

did you drop him as you were transferring him to the other tank?

Did you have to chase him down and catch him in a corner with the net and maybe used to much force by accident, tangs are fast and hard to catch.
