Yellow Morph Scopas, or Yellow Tang?


I saw this fish on LiveAquaria's Diver's Den (WYSIWYG). To me, it just looks like a Hawaiian Yellow Tang. How can you tell if it is really a "rare yellow color morph Scopas Tang" or a Yellow Tang?

maybe its the little dots on it really small i have never seen a tang with does before

I personally have no problem paying extra for "rare" stuff. But the extra cost better get me something that appears unique or special without squinting to see the difference. Just my opinion.

I do agree however that i havent seen a yellow tang with those spots before either.

I seen that scopas and think it is cool. Does not look too much diferent, but what the heck ya know?

ive seen people sell hypomelanistic red bearded dragons. (red lizard missing the red pigment) looked like a regular one, and they were selling them for couple hundred bucks. some people are just gullible.

Ya, don't think I would spend the extra $40.00 for something that looks the exact same as a Yellow Tang. Just wanted to get other peoples opinons.

it's the white spots that makes it a yellow morph scopas
I'm sure it's a "darker" yellow than your standard YT as well

personaly, I'd take a brown Scopas over that anyday
(but I really don't care for yellow tangs)
