Do you have any problems getting your Xenia to pulse? I have a small stalk and it looks OK but It has never "pulsed" in the 4 weeks that I have had it. Let me know if you ever want to get rid of some...I love the way that stuff looks in a well kept tank.

Thanks, Ken

Easiest stuff in the world to frag. Just cut it! I use a scissors. Just leave about 1/4" of the stalk left on the rock, and you should see new heads in a few days to a week.

Now the tough part is getting it to attach to something else. Some people use rubber bands, some superglue, some "sew" it on with thread. I just wedge it between two small pieces of rock and it will attach to one of them.

You can peel it or I cut it with a single edge blade, stick a tothpick near the botoom and glue toothpick ends on a rock!

Jeez, I can't get mine to stop fragging. Of course, my CB shrimp likes to do a little pruning and leaves the stalks laying around in the refuge. I now have like 50 little frags pumping away.

Check your pH levels, they can be real sensitive to a pH too low.
