Medium to high lighting, medium water flow ("arms" should sway back and forth, not get blown in one constant direction), no direct feeding required, DT's couldn't hurt. At least thats how I have kept mine (with pretty good success). HTH

Yup, that's the way I've kept mine. They are generally easy to keep, and will need pruning as you go along.

i was told that lighting isnt really an issue with xenia. they are very hardy. they are filter feeders so you can just put photoplankton into the water and they will eat off that. circulation is somewhat moderate or else the pulsers will be swingin all over the place. spreads really fast if you have good water parameter. even tho i said they are hardy. sometime, xenias wont survive in one tank but is able to survive in anothers.

yeah, let me clarify. By medium-high light I meant it can thrive in medium light or high light. I cant comment on how it would react to intense or low light levels, but I would say the stronger the light the lower it should be placed in the tank and the lower the light level the higher it should be placed in the tank.

Xenia will be much happier and grow faster in higher light. (Not necessarily a good thing. ) In all the tanks I've seen, if you place it low in the tank it will move upwards towards the light.

My advise, take it out while you still can . Yup all the advise sounds good, and dont go adding iodine or anything, they dont require it.
