Xenia and other pulsating corals

Just went to a LFS and saw an amazing growth of Xenia in their display tank.I would really like some of the stuff and possibly other types of pulsing coral,so...if any one has any good links to scientific articals, personal advise, pics, etc... I would love you long time.

Given lots of light (VHO or better), stable/high pH and alkalinity, your xenia will grow like a weed. Xenia elongata, or tree xenia is very common. See if a hobbyist in your area will give you a frag. Pom pom xenia, some people call is red sea xenia, is more pink, and isn't quite as weedy. Some people will tell you that xenia likes or needs iodine supplements, but I've never added any and have had lots and lots of xenia.
