Uggh, had to work late and get up early. Where's the coffee.
Got my water treatment plant on-line yesterday. No leaks!!!!! Putting a bulkhead on the bottom of a 55 gallon plastic barrel is quite a challenge, as I found out. Got to do a water change this evening.
Hope everyone has a good day. I'm off to three days of "Company Environmental Forum" meetings. Free food, anyway, and tons of propaganda.

Good Morning, Perry, Yardboy, & TRT!
"Early" and "Work" seem to be the key words most weekday mornings!
Yardboy, concerning 'Environmental' stuff; has the EPA approved your Water Treatment Plant??
Yesterday was a real 'grind', as I spent the last part of the day at the dentist! $357 worth!
Rocky Top Weather is pretty much the same as the past week; 80's and chance of showers and T'Storms later.
Speaking of rain, this is "Rain", one of FishGirl's kitties from last Summer's litter of 8. Most found other homes but this one was too sweet to part with.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

Good Mawnin' Perry, Yardboy, Dick, Tim and all of TRT!!
Ohhhhh my achin' eardrums, Tim. Here I am, front and center Not quite ready to face the world, but working on it. We got a tad of rain on the East side of town (where I live), and buckets north of us. We need buckets, but gently please.
Dick- No "today in history" for us? I enjoy reading those. Beautiful close up of the Rain's eyes.
I love the photos we've been having of flowers, birds and turtles lately. Nice bunch of naturalists we have here
Lots and lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Sorry about the history; nothing ever happened on May 19th!!
1911 - The first person to commit a crime and be convicted through the use of fingerprints turned out to be Caesar Cella. He had been ‘thumbed’ in New York City.
1958 - Bobby Darin’s single, Splish Splash, was released as the first eight-track master recording pressed to a plastic 45 RPM disc.
I sure miss the 8-track in my old Chevy!!

Hi Cath, Dick, Tim, Noob, Yardboy and TRT! Was lazy last night and didn't do much homework. I cheated and went to bed early instead! Cats always look hungry in pics like that Dick! Hope all have a wonderful day today. I hate spending money at the dentist! But they always do a good job just the same.

Morning...I'm not sure if it's good yet. Well, I guess it's good. I got on the train this morning, fell asleep as usual, and it seemed like I was at work 5 minutes later. Let's see if the rest of the day passes that quick.
Dick, that sure is a pretty cat. Looks kinda like my Mo & Joe, named after watching an Austin Powers marathon. I've always been a sucker for the grey striped cats and green eyes.
Here's one of many house finches at the bird feeder.

Happy Wednesday....
We're supposed to get some pretty intense storms later today. Mikayla is very excited. I still think she is going to end up being a meteorologist when she grows up.
I got some bad news yesterday. My best friend's father (her family is like my second family) has been diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma of the lung with bone metastasis. Could I trouble you all to say a prayer for Jim? He is undergoing radiation and chemo at the medical center I work at, but the prognosis isn't very good.
Love the kitty picture, Dick. Quiche, our male orange tabby, has decided that 4 a.m. is a good time to play. He brings his favorite toys into bed with me and meows at me until I get up to play. His sister, Moxie, has decided enough is enough and is now sleeping with Mikayla. If he wasn't so loud, I'd shut him out of my bedroom....
Have a great day everyone!
Jodi

Good morning TRT!
The weather here went from being very warm and sunny to cool, cloudy and a high of only 50 today!
Jodi, prayers on the way for Jim and *both* of his families for strength during this time.

Heya Tim,
Nope 12 hours a day. Then home to work on my fish tanks, drink a beer and fall asleep. I am trying to keep Mrs. Phish happy until the boss let's me hire a warehouse guy.

Morning everyone! Huge thunderstorms rolled through here last night. I loved it! Several areas of KC have flooded roads. Why is it all the great thunderstorms seem to happen at night when I am to tierd to stay up and watch the lightning show?
To all who are working today...(and not working..*glares* ) Have a great day!
