Wow that was close!
Okay walk by the tank and lights are out but the light from my dining room lights it up a bit. I notice the carpet is all balled up you know how they look when they eat! First I start looking for fish. Okay there all there, whew. OMG my clam is gone! I reach in and yep the carpet has it. I pulled the clam out of the carpet and placed it back in the rockwork. He is starting to open but not much. Oh and you pic fanatics, no I didn't stop to take a pic. I am still trying to figure out how it got the clam loose. I didn't think they were that strong. I won't know till the clam opens all the way to see if it is harmed. If I hadn't of walked by I am sure the clam would be a gonner. Maybe one of the fish knocked him loose I don't know but the carpet has never done anything like this before. Plus he got fed this a.m.

Crazy! You have a clam eating carpet
The clam could have "jumped" sometimes they do that.

I cant believe you didnt take a picture of it before pulling the clam out ...and then still had the nerve to come on here and tell the story

Carpets!!!!!
Mine completly wiped out all the fish in my tank, well except for the clowns . About $250 worth. So I added 5 chromis last month (since there cheap) and only one is left!
