"What you have there is known as a Palau Nepthea. They are actually quite rare and are said to be extinct in the wild. Often confused with the common
leather coral what sets these guys apart is there rather hard internal structure once acclimated to your tank.
Palau Nepthea can tolerate and thrive in pretty much any light and flow. However, high water pressure can cause it to retract its polyps. I have included a picture of what the coral looks like when expanded."
