WOW!! god I love reefin'

Just recently came back from a visit to Denver at Marine Showcase (truly an awesome store). I bought me a rock with green ricordia and a cleaner shrimp.

That cleaner shrimp is so fun to watch, I could watch it for hours.
I walked up to the tank and he was scrubbin' down the side of my clarkii clown and it was so neat to witness the relationship and behavior between the two. I told my wife and she didnt get very excited By the way, it seems like the shrimp is on Crack or something because his little pincers are going nuts all over everything!!

About the green ricrodia's.....What light requirements? And am feeding spray dried phytoplankton once a day (which my polyps love). Anything special I need to know about ric's? Right now he is in full view of my lights and am wondering if it might be too strong.

thanks

I LOVE ricordias!! I have yumas and carribean both. Ricordias love more light than mushrooms. I keep mine towards the bottom of the tank under the MHs and they are very happy....

Ricordias will eat mysis and other meaty foods too. Kinda cool to watch them suck down a mysis shrimp like a piece of spaghetti....
