Worried: Zoo's Being Over Run By Algae-need Help!!!
Hi,
I am worried about my zoos. They use to florish until slowly they started getting smaller and covered in algae. Only some open, but even the one's that do are way smaller than they use to be. They use to be in an 18 gal tank with 96 watt lighting(5watts per gal), now in a 12 with 24 watts. Right now, I put them closer to the bottom because I didn't want to allow the algae to grow more. Even the snails and hermits help out but it's now enough. They use to be nice and plump, I just want them to be like that again. I was told where it is algae infected I could scrape away and leave to good sides. But I would imagine the die off. Well I ran out of ideas, what do you guys think???
