Worms

I have been reading about the different types of worms that can be found in salt water but am slightly confused over the one worm I have noticed in my tank. I have only seen 3 or 4 and realy am unsure as to what they realy are. I think they are a bristle but can be certain. The worm has a red head area and a black body with a bunch of legs all over it. The other thing is finding a good book about sea worms.
