Wolf eels spawning?

Has anyone had a pair of wolf eels spawn for them. My female wolf eels has twice laid eggs in my 135 FOWLR tank. I'd like to add a male, if I can find one, and see if they'll spawn but I don't want to risk all out wolf eel war if they won't spawn.

The female eel tried to keep the eggs from the other fish in the tank my holding them in her mouth and making a run for it. It reminded me of my old cichlid days.

it could also be dangerous for the other fish if they do pair up. I'd say they'd be pretty viscious guarding those eggs
