Ok....here's what happend. Left for work this morning and all seems good with the tank. Come home at lunch (4 hours later) and about 25gal of water is MISSING from the tank!

I open the stand doors and see my rubbermaid sump FILLED to capacity. I mean water was teetering on the edge!!!! Everything is running (from what I noticed anyway...kinda paniced!). So what I did was turn off the main power strip and turn it back on. The pump (Iwaki MD40RLXT) starts pumping and water begings spraying out the returns and the sump starts emptying and the tank goes back to normal.
I have NO IDEA what happend. The sump was full and the pump was running, but not pumping. As soon as I turned it off then back on, it started right up. Something simular happend before when I got a small piece of airline tubing caught in it. Do you think something got caught in it and then when I turned it off then back on, it some how , dislodged it and started pumping? I would have no idea what it could have been.
I just wanna run it by you guyz and see what you think. Do you think it could be a sign that the pump is going out? I'm not sure how old the pump is but, with all things considered, I'de say it's about 4 years old.
Also...no sign of any power outage. Thought maybe the power went out and the pump lost it's prime but....no dice. Thanks everyone!!!!
