wish me luck

Spent the day at the store in between customers setting up new and cleaner (?????) version of my sump. About to add the liquid, sure hope that there are no leaks.
If you hear swearing in English, Japanese, and Swedish you'll know I found a leak.

Half way to dry

The skimmer portion is working completely dry now. With 540 gallons/hour there always seems to be a drip or two to fix.

Taking a break before I start the return pump system. Thats 900 gal/hour. Saving the easiest for last the refugium. Just 100 gal/hour off of the return pump and over flow back into the sump.

Couple more hours and I'll be done, I hope.

My dad when he was alive swore in half english and half swedish. I think he just made up his own words.

Hi Cath

Was it you who made mention of using felcro to hold on "backgrounds" on tank? Just putting the finishing touches and fine tuning the pumps. Added a wood grain wrap on my refugium. So the fishes can sleep at night and not be bothered my the reserve daylight refugium.

So here are the final specs.

60 gallon BioReef tank with 4 plus inches DSB, 60 lbs Live Fuji Rock, Two Hagen 201 for wave motion Two return lines for constant flow. 4 55 watt PC for lighting

20 gallon BioReef tank for Refuium with 30 lbs. Live Fuji Sand with 4 kinds of Caulerpa (Long Feather, Short Feather, Blade and Razor) 55 watt 10,000 K PC

18 gallon TuVu sump with AuqaLogic Chiller Coil. 24" x 4" LifeReef Skimmer powered by Iwaki 20RLT, Iwaki 30 RLT return to tank, refugium and bypass back to sump.

Does the tank with the most fittings win a prize?????
