will my fish jump?


will a snooty maori wrasse aka scarlet hogfish jump from an open top tank like those ditzy fairy wrasses? informal survey. here is the potential offender: first inhabitant of my fish only with live rock 55g.

not if you don't scare it.

the small wrasses are occasional jumpers. not near as common as lets say a goby surfing, but still fairly common.

yeah i guess i will be on the safe side and keep the ugly black stock cover/light on there until i get some eggcrate cut to fit. I wanna use my pc's cuz i wanna do macroalgae in the tank too...maybe transfer my huge clumps of halimeda and dragons tongue out of my reef...theres a thought
