looks like polys or zoas... i think they are totally gone... no chance of them coming back...

Is there any soft parts of the polyps left? If so, they may come back, but that kind of looks more like coral skeleton as opposed to zoanthids, so I doubt anything could come back.

that is a fairly common colonial coral. much more common on caribbean LR than Pacific. the ones you have are dead.
