Question

will foxface go postal???

has anyone ever had a foxface kill other fish in their tank??? i ahve one and he is the biggest wuss in the tank everyone picks on him chase him up and down the tank.. last night i saw a fairly comical routine between him and my chevron tang, he was taking his licks as usual and the chevron was bititng him in his dorsal fin and would do a 360 and do it again one after the other popping him like every second he did it for like 20 seconds and the foxface jsut sat there and took it, my question is if there is potential for him to sting him one day or any other fish for that matter i sure would hate for my 30.00 foxface to kill my 100.00 chevron.

the venomous spines are used for protection of things grabbing or eating the foxface. there is a small possibility the chevron could run into one of the spines, but unlikely.

doubtfull.

Animals don't work the way we do. How they are treated early on, determines their personality. So if he's submissive now, and beat up...he'll stay the same.

Imagine a Damsel who's put in the tank early on. He becomes territorial. If you keep adding fish, he doesn't say..."okay...I've been a bully for a while, I probably should stop". Instead...he becomes WORSE. MORE territorial.

just my opinion though.

yes that seems accurate becasue the chevron was added way after the foxface, but since evryone else beat up on him i guess he figured why not especially for a fish that i thought was supposed not be aggressive.
