Why you don’t put a pumpkin on top of a hot canopy.

So I pushed the pumpkin back to open the canopy and forgot about it. This is what it looked like after about 4 days on top of a warm canopy.

Wow thats wierd.
If it did get into your water, i think it would only effect your pH maybe a little not much else. Lucky it wasnt a giant lemon that melted into your tank

rotting pumpkin could have a ton of bacteria growing in it

Ah you TRTers and your cellular degredation mumbo jumbo! Wouldnt the heat from the lights denature the enzymes that were working in the pumpkin? Learning about denaturation in bio right now, good time for a lesson from a TRT member so i wont be bored to death.

I think a bit of the juice did get in but I have 300 gal of water volume so I don't think its a big deal. I didn't bother testing the tank but everything looks fine.
