Question

Why do anemones move? (Onto the face of the glass)

My bubble tip has given me the ultimate insult and moved onto the front of the glass giving us a lovely view of its rear.....

It has been 'moving' around the tank for the last couple of weeks - and has finally ended up on the glasss...WHY? Anything I can do? If I put it back on a rock is there a way to make it stay?

anemones move when they are in places which they dont like. if they are in too much/too little current, too much/too little light, or if the water quality there isnt what it is looking for food wise....nothing you can do but hope that it finds a place it likes soon and is in a viewing area you like.....dont try and move it just let it be.....
good luck

Well, unless your anemone gets on the move again, you may be stuck with the rear view

Trying to move an anemone is a possible way to kill or injure it. You might try redirecting the current flow and see what happens. It may be that the anemone has moved to where it has the best opportunity for prey capture via the current and redirecting it might make it look for a better suited area.
