why cant i just be rich... what an addiction!!
well i got laid off today at work, only a temperary one thankfully, till jan 8. funny though that the first thing i thought about wasnt paying the morgage or utilities or other living expenses, it was maaan i wanted to get more lr, and an open brain lmao. unemployment isnt nearly as much as im used to making so it will be tight, ill survive its just really putting a halt on my plans for this tank!! why cant i just be one of those rich people... could only imagine the tank i would have if i had a couple mill in the bank!!! on the upside though thats all im asking for for xmas is gift certificates to the lfs!

Man that stinks, I hate being layed off, even temporarally. I used to do the temp thing, and I woked at a great place, for good money, but they layed you off for 1 month every 3 because in order to keep "Temp" labor they could work for no more than 3 months, otherwise the company has to go through all the paper work.
Good luck man! If you do figure out how to get rich, let me know, I'd be on it!

Sorry to hear about this especially at this time of year but think of it as a 3-4 week somewhat paid vacation. Hopefully I will be back to work next year. At least you knew yours was only temporary.

thanks everyone, im not too stressed about the layoff thing, like pauli said its like a month vacation, just barely paid. ill survive. im just mad that i dont have the cash to do the things i wanted to to the tank on the regularly scheduled xmas vacation. think ill play the lottery this week....
