Who uses Tunze Turbelle Stream?
I am looking in to getting some good flow in my 72 gallon tank. I am currently using three Maxi jets 1200's. I am interested in the Tunze Turbelle Stream Kit TS12 - Stream 6101 + 7091(controller). If someone has this set up or any of the other Tunze pumps or set ups, can you give me your honest opinion. Is it worth the money? Can one of these actualy replace my 3 Maxi jets? Should i go with just the pump instead of the controller? Thanks in advance.

go with the Hydor Koralia's (Koralia 4's two of them = 2400 gph of flow)

I just added a 6060 to my tank which is a 150g but only 48" long. I would say it creates moderate flow in 2/3 of the tank. I use another pump to move water where it does not reach. Its a mixed reef.

I have two 6000's with controller in my 90. 1 might be enough flow if you set it up with 6100 setting, but I think you might want more random flow from the other side of tank.

I've got two 6100s and the multicontroller on my 150... it is about all I use for flow and plenty on my tank. For a 72, it would be a great solution.

Do you guys think i can get away with just two of the Tunze pumps that are not controlled, or maybe one controlled tunze with the single controller and a nano tunze. I would love to go with the multicontroler but its too rich for my blood right now. Also, i am trying to think ahead because i will be upgrading my tank to a 180 or 220 in January/Feb ($5000.00 bonus check ) , so i want something that is going to be transfered to the new tank, so if i have to wait to get something better, then i will. Do you guys think the controlers are over rated? Also, i have a wave maker for the Maxi jets- I can not use this controller for the Tunze's, right? I dont want to go with the Koralias because i think if i am going to upgrade, it should be a brand that has good reliability history and not a new product. Thanks for the help.

you need a controller...2 6101's would be to much direct flow IMO! FOR THE 75
