i want to get a mandarin down the road but since i only have about 100gallons of water and 100lbs of rock i don't want it to have too much competition, what other types of fish can i get? im looking for larger fish, but they still have to be happy in a 80gallon bow (48x12-15x26) thanks
I think that any omnivore will eat them. I have seen my wrasse, scooter blenny (who is really a dragonette...but they did NOT tell me that at the LFS!!), and even my clownish tries to bump her nose to the glass and get some!
ok, but what will decimate the population? ive heard 6 lines are out and if you have lots of peppermint shrimp it can be a problem as well, anythign else?
well i have 2 clowns and they don't seem to make a dent in it, so any ideas what will eat abotu the same amount as them? or any solely herbivores that would be happy?
Anything that eats algae like a fox face would be ideal. Clowns, hawkfish, chromis, pygmy angles might be OK. Grammas wrasses psuedochromis would be out. Most of the tanks I see with mandarins are lightly stocked with lots of rubble and macro.
