Hmm. My guess was going to be in the first pic at 12 o'clock - a small hairy crab?? but I'm stumped by the second pic...

how about now and now lol
now go back and look at the first pics i posted, for anyone who hasnt seen them before and thinks that they DONT have them. Thats how hard they are to see on some corals, especially if you havent seen them before and know what you are looking at

Yep see the fan worm. There is something suspicious looking at 3 oclock on the first pic. Also saw what sambo saw but looked like algae or something.

no......they are long gone.
I was just going through some old pics and thought i would post a few and show how hard they can be to see at times on some corals in particular
I was at a friends house yesterday and he had a pretty good case of them......it took us ten minutes of standing there staring with ne pointing them out to get him to be able to see them

Redbugs dont kill corals.
They irritate, cause reduced polyp extension and in some cases loss of color.
Worse case scenario is maybe a coral that is weak in other ways they could contribute to a corals demise, but alone on a healthy coral i honestly dont think they could kill it
