who all uses IRON? let poll


who uses Iron I hear most people use it now to help keep Macro Algae alive and growing but Will it help coral and effect fish?

Joe, lay off the gimmicks will ya.

for a while my water filter was not filtering out the Fe from my well. i was getting horrible growth in the tank. do a search for Fe poisoning. Spanky set me straight on what Fe can do to a reef tank. it causes a lot of the same problems as phosphates do.

one of these days you are going to see the light and quite trying to feed your sand bed.

there should be enough iron in a water change to accomodate our needs
