you wouldnt believe the mark up on stuff. for example, an XL copperband butterfly was 15.99
now, i have no clue how healthy these fish are going to be, but they should be fine. i was just disappointed that they didnt have an achilles tang listed =(

Actually, I would believe the mark up on fish. However, there are many other factors to consider. How much of the shipping cost are you covering? A large fish can take up a whole box so the shipping can be steep for that one single fish. Sometimes the shipping is significantly more than the fish itself. The styrofoam box itself can cost about $10 from some wholesalers.
What if your fish arrives DOA? Is the store going to pay for it or will you still be expected to cover the cost? Wholesalers offer no refunds, even if an entire shipment shows up DOA.
The sizes are always a guessing game when it comes to ordering fish. That's part of the excitement when opening a new shipment.
