Black is nice. Don't do the stick on the back stuff from the LFS. Get a can of fusion, clean with white vinegar and water, then mist a couple of coats before you lay it on.

We look forward to seeing how your painting project comes out!

I like black , but in my next tank, or the one i'm doing now its clear, because the way its set up clear actually gives it more depth, because of the shimmering effect by the light and water on the wall it make the backgroung look like a caver with a sunroof LOl. Can't really explain it has to be seen.

I have to say.....im pretty surprised by the results of this poll. I had black and was very dissapointed.......it got covered with the lovely purple algae.....and it just looked dirty where the algae wasnt. I havent had an over abundance of coraline growth yet....so maybe thats why I still like the blue. But im still surprised. Good idea with the poll.

I agree completly. I didnt want to spend the money on something to scrape it off....It was literally the whole back of my tank. running it off the tank and on the rocks is the way to go. haha. I cant stand it now on my back wall of the tank.

i have a cheap plastic picture it was great till the coraline covered the back wall. But i do have to say the pink of the coraline makes the tank look brighter.
