where to order hand picked live rock ?

not sure if the title explains my question

i'd like to order some live rock online.
but i do not want any BIG pieces. they should be roughly inbetween 3" and 6"
nothing bigger.

preferably some nice porous rock

does anyone know of an online vendor that does this ?

i've looked at drfostersmith's nono live rock package, but that looks like a mix of different kinds of rock, including some dense branches that i do not like.

any pointers appreciated!

J.

I would try this. You might even call and put in special instructions that you would like small pieces or something like that. Heard good things about this rock site for live rock.
http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merch..._Code=Liverock
also check with the local lfs. Mine will give me 50% off with orders of rock over 25lbs so it is cheaper than online and you can really pick it out yourself and know what your getting.

thanks! i shot an email to premiumaquatics.

as for the LFS, their liverock selection well... sucks one of them hav a very limited amount, and all their pieces resemble boulders.

the other one has a bigger liverock tub, but all of their rock is pretty large too. they can't even tell me when new shipments will come in. "call every now and then and ask" was their reply

You could buy a few large pieces and break them up. Or you could watch the classifieds in your area for a tank break down.

I agree, go for quality and just break the rocks to the size you want. I was very happy with the LR that I got from Reefscience.com
